(6-2-17) Below are details of the funeral arrangements of Portland, Indiana’s Kevin Mann, who drowned last Saturday in Grand Lake near Montezuma.

 

ARRANGEMENTS:

Funeral services will be Saturday at 10:00 AM in the Baird-Freeman Funeral Home with burial in the Gravel Hill Cemetery west of Bryant. Visitation will be Friday from 4:00 – 8:00 PM . Memorials can be given to the Montezuma Volunteer Fire Dept.

Kevin D. Mann age 48, 2147 North 200 East Portland passed away early Saturday morning in an accident on Grand Lake in Celina Ohio. He was born in Portland September 20, 1968 the son of Fred and Shirley (Robbins) Mann. He was a machinist with Excel and owner and operator of Mann’s Appearel in Portland. He was a member of Celina Moose Lodge and 1986 Jay County High School graduate.

Surviving are his fiance Tanya Storie of Portland, parents Fred and Shirley Mann of Portland, one son Josh Mann of Decatur, two daughters Trisha McEwen of Pennville and Alexis Raszkowski of Portland, one brother Randy Mann of Portland , one sister Tracy Winn of Portland, Five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Drowning Victim Found In Grand Lake

(5-30-17) The Montezuma Fire Department has recovered the body of 48-year-old Kevin Mann from Portland, Indiana. at around 6:30 am this morning near Safety Island, Mann’s family has been notified. Mann has been missing since Saturday after jumping off of a pontoon boat near Safety Island on Grand Lake near Montezuma.
