June 2, 2017, Celina, OHIO – Celina Insurance Group recently awarded three $1,000 scholarships to local 2017 graduates. The award recipients are Colleen Jutte – Minster High School, Paige Purdy – Minster High School, and Karlee Huber – Celina High School.

The scholarship certificates were presented to the graduating seniors during an awards reception held at Celina Insurance Group on May 31, 2017.

Colleen is the daughter of Diane and Ed Jutte, Minster. She will be attending the University of Dayton this fall to pursue a major in Business Administration and a minor in Medical Humanities.

Paige is the daughter of Christine and Jay Purdy, Minster. She will be attending The Ohio State University – Lima this fall majoring in Marketing.

Karlee is the daughter of Michele and Carl Huber, Celina. She plans to attend Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia this fall and will be double majoring in Business Administration and Spanish.

Celina Insurance Group established the scholarship for graduating seniors pursuing a degree relating to the insurance business. Seniors in Auglaize or Mercer County or a child/grandchild of a current Celina Insurance Group employee were eligible to apply. The top three applicants were selected based on a written essay about factors that affect auto insurance premiums.
