Logan County Sheriff’s Office

On Tuesday, August 18th, 2026, at approximately 9:56 pm, Deputies responded to 7782 S.R. 559, Zanesfield, Oh in reference to a missing 63-year-old female. When Deputies arrived, they searched a pond on the property and found the missing female in the pond. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene and was identified as Marianne R. Saxton, 63 of that address.

Deputies are continuing their investigation into the incident.
