(5-28-26) A felony pursuit that started in Lima Wednesday morning ended with the arrest of the suspect later in the day.

Hardin County Sheriff Keith Everhart, deputies assisted in the pursuit starting around 10:15am yesterday.

The vehicle was found abandoned between Alger and McGuffey, and a search was initiated, but the suspect was not found in the area.

He was located later in the day and was apprehended.

Daniel Boutwell

Daniel Boutwell (40) was transported to the Multi County Jail in Marion, where he is being held on a charge of failure to comply with the order or signal of a police officer.

Sheriff Everhart said that he is wanted on several felony warrants through the Lima Police Department.
