(12-5-24) With the recent pardon by President Joe Biden of his son Hunter many are concerned about the leadership of the country. Who is running the country? President-elect Trump will not take office until January 20th, 2025. The pardon seemed to intensify the concern.

In September Jill Biden sat at the head of the table at a cabinet meeting.

This week President Biden fell asleep during a leaders’ summit in Angola (Africa) and some of his address during that time appeared to show that he was struggling with what he wanted to say. The meeting was being held to advance a plan to extend a railway that could channel critical minerals from Congo and Zambia to the West via Lobito, and counter Chinese clout in the region.

The fact that Biden dropped out as a candidate is also concerning when you remember that his own party decided to replace him as their nominee.

Opposition to Biden’s campaign from within his party gained steam over the past week with 36 congressional Democrats – more than one in eight – publicly calling on him to drop out, driven by concerns over his mental acuity.

But yet he is still in office while major events continue to take place in the world..Gaza and Ukraine, North Carolina storm damage, the continued border crisis, etc.

The next several weeks has many concerned on what President Biden will do next.

POLITICO reported today that Biden is considering preemptive pardons for one class of individuals — those whom he believes could be targeted by the Trump administration, including Sen.-elect Adam Schiff, former Rep. Liz Cheney and Anthony Fauci, the former director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases.

Last week President Biden has called on Congress to provide a $24 billion funding boost for Ukraine, to help Kyiv’s fight against Russian aggression.
