(1-8-23) Two suspects are now in custody in the Van Wert County counterfeit situation reported earlier this past week by the Van Wert Police Department.

Katrina Shaw (39) is presently being housed in the Corrections Center of Northwest Ohio on a 4th degree felony of counterfeiting. The other suspect is being held in the Paulding County Jail.

The two were taken into a search warrant was executed at the 118 East Maple apartment complex. Police seized counterfeit money and several items to make counterfeit money.
