Suspect Identified:

(12-9-22) Cheryl Sue Hazelett (58) of Coldwater was arrested Friday on a 1st degree misdemeanor charge of theft for allegedly stealing a person’s wallet earlier this week of a local woman’s wallet off a shelf inside of Goodwill in Celina. with it. Hazelett was released early this afternnon after being held in the Mercer County Adult Detention Facility on a $25,000 bond.

Hazelett is scheduled to appear in Celina Municipal Court Monday afternoon at 1:30 pm.

Earlier in the day on Facebook the Celina Police Department had asked for assistance in identifying a person of interest in a local theft.

(12-9-22) The Celina Police Department is attempting to identify the female in the attached picture out of a theft investigation.
