(4-8-22) Bomb threats were phoned in to Van Wert, Wapakoneta and other area high schools this morning. According to local law enforcement searches were made with nothing being found and said students and teachers were safe.


Thursday….North Carolina State and local law enforcement officials are investigating after threatening calls about suspicious packages and bomb threats were made at 16 different high schools over a period of two days.
Henderson County Sheriff’s Office said. Sheriff Lowell S. Griffin
“We’ve learned that this event seems to be associated with a disturbing pattern of similar calls across the state. It’s my understanding that very similar situations have occurred at 16 different North Carolina high schools encompassing 13 different counties beginning on April 5.”
