November 24, 2020 – Beginning Monday, November 30, 2020 the Mercer County Sheriff’s Office lobby will be closed to the public due to the recent increase in Covid-19 cases in Mercer County.

Citizens wanting to apply for a CCW or to re-new a CCW can still do so by scheduling an appointment. Fingerprinting (BCI and FBI Background Checks through National Webcheck) can also be obtained by appointment only. Appointments can be scheduled by calling 419-586-5770 during the hours of 8:00 A.M. and 4:00 P.M., Monday through Friday, excluding Holidays.

Appointments will be scheduled in twenty (20) minute increments to allow enough time to complete the application process. Please make sure that you have all the appropriate documents and form of payment ready prior to coming in for your appointment. Public records requests can be made via email, USPS, or by calling 419-586-5770. Please do not come to the office for a public record request.

Anyone that comes to our office must wear a mask to enter the building.
