(5-13-26) The 2026 Miss Ohio Pageant will have 30 contestants this year who are all hoping to win the crown and a chance to move on to the Miss America Pageant. Four of the contestants come from the Stateline area.

Two flights of competition will be held.

Two of the area contestants will be in the Scarlet Flight…Celina’s Caitlin Cramer, Miss Central Ohio and current Miss Lake Festival Mackenzie Harmer of St. Henry.

In the Grey Flight…Celina’s Maleah Lee and current Miss Grand Lake and Miss Moon City Tavia Hume of Wapakoneta.

This year the pageant will be held at the Archer Auditorium in Ashland, OH on Wednesday June 17th and Thursday June 18th for preliminary competition and Saturday June 20th to find out who the next Miss Ohio will be.

Why the move to Ashland?

The Miss Ohio and Miss Ohio’s Teen contestants will compete in June at Ashland High School as the Renaissance Theatre in Mansfield won’t be available due to restoration work.

It will be the first time since 1977 that the pageant won’t be held at the Renaissance.

The Renaissance Theatre seats are scheduled to be removed on May 18 and taken to Irwin Seating Co. in Walker, Michigan to be restored, a nine-week project.

The four nights of competition will be held at 1,002-seat Archer Auditorium at Ashland High School, 1440 King Road.

Mansfield will still host events such as the Miss Ohio Parade June 14, events at the Richland Carrousel Park and Miss Ohio and Miss Ohio’s Teen public appearances at civic organizations.
