UPDATED (7-22-19) – The new Miss Lake Festival for 2019 is Kaycie Wissman ($4,000 scholarship), 1st Runner up is Riley Post ($1,500 scholarship) and 2nd Runner up is Macey Thees ($1,000 scholarship).
Kaycie is a Freshman at Ohio University studying Biology/Pre-Physician’s Assistant. Her Social Impact Initiative was “Compassion Into Action: Promoting Volunteerism”. She was also the 2017 Miss Lake Festival Outstanding Teen.
The pageant was held at the Celina Education Complex.

(6-25-19) Eight contestants will attempt to become the 2019 Miss Lake Festival. The winner will oversee numerous events at this year’s Lake Festival and also move on to the 2020 Misss Ohio contest next year in Mansfield.
Last year’s 2018 Miss Lake Festival Cami Mohler of Celina just finished in the Top 10 in the latest Miss Ohio pageant.
The 2019 Miss Lake Festival Pageant will be held on Monday, July 22nd at the Celina Ed Complex, tickets will go on sale this coming Monday, July 1st at the Celina Mercer County Chamber of Commerce.
The next Celina Lake Festival Quarter Auction is June 27th at the Celina Eagles. All proceeds from this one go to the Miss Lake Festival Pageant Scholarships. Traditionally the Miss Lake Festival Pageant gives the most scholarship money of any other local pageant.
Contestant #1 is Makenzie Regedanz.
Makenzie is a junior at Ohio Northern University studying Music Composition and Theory. Her Social Impact Initiative is “Sharing the Burden – Finding Balance”.
The one thing Makenzie can’t live without? Ice cream
Contestant #2 is Genoa Arling.
Genoa is a Senior at Minster. Her Social Impact Initiative is “B.A.D.D.I.L (Bringing Anxiety and Depression Disorders Into Light)”.
What is her secret dream? To make it on Broadway one day!
Contestant #3 is Riley Post.
Riley is a Junior at Bowling Green State University studying Integrated Language Arts Education. Her Social Impact Initiative is “The “Write” Mindset”.
What is her favorite TV show? Stranger Things!
Contestant #4 is Macey Thees.
Macey is a Freshman at Butler University with a major in Business and a minor in Design. Her Social Impact Initiative is “Suicide Awareness and Prevention”.
What does Macey do in her spare time? Teaches gymnastics, rollerblades, paints, and works out!
Contestant #5 is Ashley Ray.
Ashley is a Junior at Kent State University studying Nutrition and Dietetics. Her Social Impact Initiative is “Ending Our Deadly Lifestyle”.
What is the one thing Ashley can’t live without? Food…mostly Reese’s Cups!
Contestant #6 is Alexis Heath.
Alexis is a Freshman at Bowling Green State University with a major in Biology and a minor in Psychology. Her Social Impact Initiative is “Dueling Digital Dangers: The Online Safety Guide”.
What is her favorite TV show? Grey’s Anatomy
Contestant #7 is Gabriella Posada.
Gabriella is a Sophomore at Wright State University with a major in Psychology. Her Social Impact Initiative is “Have a Heart for the Arts – Know the Impact”.
Gabriella’s secret dream is to be a Disney Princess!
