(6-6-19) The Ft. Recovery Board of Education made the announcement after a special meeting last night the hiring of Larry Brown as their new superintendent.
Brown resigned from Wauseon in April of this year, it was to be effective Dec. 31, 2019.
Brown told the Fulton County Expositor in April–
“Serving Wauseon Schools has been one of the highlights of my 33 year career in education. While working alongside the staff in providing an education for the children of this community has been a great privilege, I am ready for a change. I’m not sure what that change will be, but I am looking forward to the next chapter. We can be very proud of the all of our academic, co-curricular and extracurricular activities here in Wauseon.”
Brown replaces Justin Firks who resigned in April to become the new Superintendent at Bethel Local Schools.
