(11-8-26) Celina’s Brynly Huber is headed to Miss Ohio’s Teen.
Huber won the title of Miss Maple City’s Teen 2027 on Saturday night, Nov. 7, at the Miss Maple City pageant at the Ernsthausen Performing Arts Center in Norwalk. Gabby Harper was named first runner-up in the teen division.
Huber succeeds Jaden Dietsch, who held the teen title in 2026. Huber previously held the title of Miss Chillicothe’s Teen 2026.
The Miss Maple City competition is a Miss America Organization local preliminary, open to Miss and Teen contestants from across Ohio. This year’s pageant was held Saturday at 6 p.m. in Norwalk — the Maple City, a nickname the town has carried since maples were planted along Main Street in 1831.
Lucabella LaEace takes the Miss crown
The Miss title went to Lucabella Ann LaEace, who was crowned Miss Maple City 2027. Celina’s Caitlin Cramer was second runner-up and Reagan Petersen was third runner-up. First runner-up Caitlin Seifert received the talent award.
LaEace succeeds Emily Legenza of Wauseon, who held the title in 2026. LaEace, of Cincinnati, is no stranger to the Miss Ohio stage — she finished as second runner-up at Miss Ohio 2026, competing as Miss Clayland, and she held the Miss Maple City’s Outstanding Teen title in 2021.
What comes next
Both new titleholders advance to the state competitions in 2027: LaEace will compete for Miss Ohio, and Huber will compete for Miss Ohio’s Teen.
