ST. MARYS, Ohio – Grand Lake Health System was honored to welcome Ohio State Representative Angie King for a tour of its ongoing Outpatient Renovation Project, highlighting the organization’s continued investment in expanding access to high-quality healthcare for the communities it serves.

During her visit, Representative King toured the newly completed Phase II of the renovation project and received an overview of the remaining phases. Grand Lake Health System is now fully engaged in Phase III, which will house specialty physician offices and further enhance patient access to specialty care in the region.

In addition to touring the facility, Grand Lake Health System leadership discussed severalimportant initiatives impacting rural healthcare, including the Rural Health Transformation Initiative. Hospital leaders appreciated Representative King’s support and her commitment to advocating for rural healthcare providers across Ohio.

The discussion also included the Chronic Disease Management Grant, which presents an exciting opportunity to further improve healthcare outcomes throughout the region. Grand Lake Health System is hopeful to participate in this initiative and continue expanding programs that address the chronic health needs of the communities it serves.
