(7-8-26) The Auglaize County Health Department is currently investigating an increase in gastrointestinal illness cases impacting Auglaize County residents. Some of these cases are caused by a parasite called Cyclospora.

To reduce your risk of Cyclosporiasis:

Wash Your Hands – hand washing should be for no less than 20 seconds with soap and using running water.

Wash All Produce – produce, including from farmers markets, home gardens, and grocery stores should be washed and scrubbed under running cool water.
