(6-19-26) Vincent Wesley (28) Dunkirk is facing an attempted murder charge for allegedly shooting another man June 12 in Montpelier and later leading police on a chase that crossed three counties.
Wesley was charged Monday in Blackford Circuit Court with attempted murder, a Level 1 felony, in connection with the shooting of Paul Wimmer (46) outside his home in Montpelier.
Wesley, who was booked into Blackford County Jail on June 12, is also charged with aggravated battery, a Level 3 felony, and criminal recklessness, a Level 5 felony.
