AUGLAIZE COUNTY BOARD OF ELECTIONS

Special Meeting/Primary Election 

Tuesday, May 5, 2026 – 9:30 a.m.

The Board was called into session to declare the polls open at 6:00 a.m. by Chairperson Diana Dulebohn. Others present were Board Member Josie Schaub, Elections Administrator Michelle Wilcox, and Elections Specialists Ada Cummings and Geraldine Stone.

Director Mark Huber and Board Member Rodney Metzassisted opening the polls at the Auglaize County Fair – Junior Fair Building in Wapakoneta. Board Member Joe Kuhn assisted opening the polls at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in New Bremen. Deputy Director Will Crawford assisted opening the polls at First Church in New Knoxville.

Rovers Richard Cummins, Jay Sweede, Michael Aquaro, and Amy Bodell along with a PEO from the opposite party, brought the DS200 sticks and provisional ballot bags to the office to tabulate the votes.

Kuhn and Metz checked-in the locked voted ballot bags.  Schaub, Dulebohn Stone, and Cummins sorted the provisional ballots, soiled and defaced ballots,and accounting charts. Wilcox and Huber tabulated results in the Electionware. Anthony Taylor and Sam Huber checked in supply bags and equipment. Boy Scout Troop 914helped carry supplies from the Election Workers’ vehiclesto the Board of Elections office.

Schaub moved to approve the results of May 5, 2026 Unofficial Canvass, seconded by Dulebohn. Voice vote, all yes. 

The Official Canvass will be held Wednesday, May 13, 2026 at 9:30 a.m. The post-election Audit will take place Wednesday, May 20, 2026 at 9:30 a.m.

Chairperson Dulebohn adjourned the meeting at 9:44 p.m.
