(4-28-26) Today, Cisco Funeral Home was honored to celebrate Bob Cisco as he was recognized for 50 years of dedicated service as a funeral director.

He received this award from the Ohio Funeral Directors Association in recognition of his faithful commitment to serving families in the Celina and St. Marys communities as a licensed funeral professional for the past five decades.

Added to above story…
Today, our family had the honor of witnessing Bob Cisco (Tammy Vernon’s father) receive his 50-year funeral director pin, recognizing a lifetime of service and a legacy that continues through generations.
Bob has poured his heart into serving thousands of families over the years, and it shows in the legacy he’s built. He is a true example of what it means to give a piece of yourself to every family you care for.
Bob’s journey began right here in Champaign County in St. Paris, where he owned Baker-Cisco Funeral Home, before later relocating to the Celina/St. Marys area to continue his life’s work.
What makes this especially meaningful is the legacy he has built within his own family. Bob, his children, and now his grandchildren represent three generations of funeral directors, each carrying forward the same values of service and compassion. All three generations have also shared the same foundation, graduating from the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science.
His son, Rob Cisco, now owns Cisco Funeral Homes, and his daughter, Tammy Vernon, went on to start Vernon Family Funeral Homes alongside her husband, Dave. Today, both firms are continuing into the next generation.
Bob’s influence goes far beyond the families he has served, he has shaped the way our own family lives out this calling each day. We are incredibly grateful to have been part of this special moment.
We love you, Grandpa Bob!!
