(9-9-24) Celina Police made two arrests this past weekend.

Celina Police arrested Zachary Swisher (32) of Lima this weekend after they were dispatched to the Arco Gas Station on South Main Street on a theft complaint.

A bicycle was stolen from the rear of the business. The victim had video of the theft and the suspect in the building.

Pictures were sent to other law enforcement agencies to see if anyone could identify him.. Saint Marys Police were able to identify the suspect.

Celina Police located Swisher riding the stolen bike on Magnolia Street…a search of Swisher revealed that he was in possession of a methamphetamine.

Swisher is being held in the Mercer County Adult Detention Center on a misdemeanor theft count and a 5th degree felony of possession of a methamphetamine. His bond is set at $50,000 (10%) with a Mercer County Common Pleas Court hearing on September 13.

Konner Compson (29) of Celina was arrested on a domestic violence charge by Celina Police after allegedly harming a family or household member by throwing a chair at him and pushing him to the ground.

Compson was released on bond on the condition that he does not consume alcohol or drugs, does not change address without the court’s permission and has no contact with the victim and is not allowed to possess firearms and must meet with a medical provider to figure out his prescriptions.

Compson is due back in Celina Municipal Court on Thursday October 3rd for a pre-trial hearing.
