(7-24-24) The Darke County Sheriffโ€™s Office is asking for help identifying a male involved in a theft.

On July 24th, 2024 at approximately 4:22 pm, Deputies were dispatched to the Dollar General in New Madison, Ohio in reference to a theft.

During the course of the investigation, it was found that at approximately 1535 hours, on July 24th, 2024, a male came into the store, taking several items and leaving in an early 2010โ€™s black van, unknown make and model, with minor damage to the front driver side bumper. The Male is approximately 5โ€™8โ€ wearing a light blue polo, gray shorts, black shoes and a gray hat. Male was described as having light brown short facial hair.
