(7-14-24) (Most) Social media allows anyone to say anything they want to…after yesterday’s assassination attempt on President Trump we see that America has a BIG divide.

Unlike the Civil War of the 1860’s between the North and the South…the divide of the country is in every state with no boundaries.

Was yesterday the beginning or the end of what happens before the presidential election.

Here are some T’X’witter comments, some before the shooting and others after the shooting. They are not in any particular order but you can see this has intensified with what is taking place in our country.

The attempt to assassinate President Trump took the focus off the issues with the Democratic Party on whether President Biden should remain on the ticket or step aside. This divide between members of the same party shows that the divide is far more complicated.

Had this been a movie you were watching you would think this could never happen in America…it is not a movie and it is taking place right before your very eyes.

America is on a road that may never be repaired…much like the Greek and Roman empires demise.

Ancient Greece ultimately fell and historians have identified several reasons for its decline, which included: war, economics, political instability, and the rise of Rome

The Roman Empire demise can be attributed to many factors, internal corruption, division, and outside invasion. As Rome grew in size and population, the rulers of Rome became very corrupt. Rather than serving the interests of the Empire, rulers, generals, and politicians became more concerned with protecting themselves.
