(8-14-23) Below is a statement issued by the City of Celina and Mayor Jeff Hazel concerning an issue with the police department’s pay scale. The issue was brought up by the Fraternal Order of Police/Ohio Labor Council in a press release sent out on August 4th.

The Mayor, who is running unopposed in the November, might see an overhauled city council after the final votes are counted. Two incumbents are running for re-election and one has decided not to run for another term. Three Republican and one Democrat first time candidates are vying for the three spots up for election in November.
