(5-17-23) Parkway Middle School named their May Students of the Month.

5th Grade – Althea Burtch – Althea is a genuinely nice kid who gets along well with others. She has a great work ethic, is extremely creative, and brings a unique perspective to class. Althea is also a quiet, studious student who always tries her best. Congratulations on a great school year! Althea is the daughter of Josh and Trishena Burtch.
6th Grade – David Green – David has shown great growth throughout the year. He has become highly motivated to achieve success in his classes. His teachers have seen not only academic success but immense growth in his confidence. David comes to class with a positive attitude and a smile on his face. David is the son of Jamie Kreeden-Kerns and Frank Green III.
7th Grade – Piper Pennell – Piper has continuously shown herself to be a PAWS-itive student all year long. She is concerned with her grades and asks good questions to clarify when needed. She consistently has her work done on time and is kind to the other students. Piper is a kind student that wants to work hard and do well. Piper is the daughter of Josh and Stephanie Pennell.
8th Grade – Brody Reigle – Brody has been a classroom leader and excelled in the character competition. Brody also participates in classroom discussions and leads class by example. Brody is the son of Ben Reigle and Kelly Salyers.
