Van Wert County Sheriff’s Deputies Respond To An Orange Parachute

(5-17-23) 1628 hrs. – Van Wert County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to an area of Dixon Cavett Road in Tully Township on a report of an orange parachute with a camera attached that hand landed in a field.

When Deputies arrived, the equipment had already been retrieved by the owner. The equipment belonged to Near Space Labs, who works on earth imaging.
