Celina, Ohio (5-16-23) – Wabash Mutual Telephone Company recently awarded $3,000 in scholarships to local high school students furthering their education after graduation. The students are children of the cooperative’s members and were selected as recipients based on their academics, plans for higher education, and community activities.
Wabash began the scholarship program in 2005 as a way to invest in the future of the communities and give back to its members.

This year, the recipients include: Will Behm of Celina, son of Robby and Michelle Behm; Allysen Fullenkamp of Fort Recovery, daughter of Jeff and Cindy Fullenkamp; Remoro Oubda of Celina, son of Moro and Jennifer Spence Oubda; Sophia Pearson of Fort Recovery, daughter of Scott and Amy Pearson; Courtney Rockwell of Saint Henry, daughter of Christopher and Carla Rockwell; and Faith Wendel of Fort Recovery, daughter of Donald and Brenda Wendel.
