(3-28-23) Two Celina City Schools bus employees involved in the situation of a pre-school student being left on a bus unattended have resigned.
Dr. Kenneth J. Schmiesing Celina City Schools Superintendent –
The two transportation department employees, Rebecca Gast and Carol Henderson, who were involved in the preschool bus incident on March 15, 2023, have resigned from their positions with Celina City Schools.
Henderson has been the long time local Ohio Association of Public School Employees.(OAPSE) Union President.
It was announced last week that the two employees were not facing criminal charges by local law enforcement with the incident.
Finally the worst bus driver in Celina,Ohio has resigned.. It took leaving a young child on the bus to bring it out in the open .The list could go on and on of the many incidents that should have been reported. Instead they were all overlooked,!!!!Shame on all administration that looked the other way.
