COLUMBUS, Ohio (3-17-23) – Calling all rock, mineral, and fossil enthusiasts! The Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) Division of Geological Survey is inviting people of all ages to Geology Discovery Day on Saturday, March 25.

The Division of Geological Survey has partnered with several educational institutions to provide the ultimate geological experience- for free!

The event will include hands-on learning activities and giveaways, including maps and educational publications. ODNR geologists will be on site to provide rock, mineral, and fossil identification. In addition to the activity stations, visitors can deepen their knowledge of earth science by attending two special presentations geared for all ages:
