Mercer County (3-17-23) – The Mercer County Ag Education Series Collaboration is offering a Saturday event uniquely designed forthe area’s farmers, industry professionals and anyone interested or involved in agriculture throughout Mercer County and the surrounding area. The event includes speakers from around the state coming to the Mercer County Fairgrounds on Saturday, April 1st, 2023.

The keynote speaker is Ty Higgins of Ohio Farm Bureau with “Keeping Ag at the Table and Off the Chopping Block”. Other topics include Prop 12 Update, Long-Term Care Cost and the Farm, Value-Added Agriculture, Water Quality Improvements, and several others. The Ag Education Series Collaboration is a joint effort by OSU Extension, Mercer County Soil and Water, Mercer County Ag Solutions, the Mercer County USDA Farm Service Agency, USDS Natural Resource Conservation Service of Mercer County, and the Mercer County Farm Bureau.
