(4-19-22) Heather Goins (38) Celina was arrested Tuesday after allegedly misleading Mercer County Sheriff’s Deputies who were searching for Stephen Lawson (30) Celina who is wanted on felonious assault charges in Allen County.
According to the complaint filed in Celina Municipal Court, Deputies were searching for Lawson, who was wanted on a warrant for felonious assault in Allen County. Goins made a false statement and provided misleading information to deputies who were on the property searching for Lawson.
Goins was charged with a 3rd degree felony of obstructing justice and a 1st degree misdemeanor of falsification and is being held in the Mercer County Adult Detention Center on a $75,000 bond. Lawson was taken to the Mercer County Jail and was transferred this afternoon to the Allen County Jail on a warrant that was issued earlier this month.
