(12-15-21) Washington Township (Logan County) police officers while on patrol Monday on Township Road 239 and Highway 33, observed a vehicle driven by Michael Croyle (56) of Celina having a broken windshield.
The report states that the registration of the vehicle returned to a trailer.
Upon making contact with Croyle, officers reportedly observed signs of possible drug use. A consent search of the vehicle revealed a clear plastic bag containing meth and a meth pipe.
Croyle was arrested and charged with felony possession of drugs.
In 2018 Croyle was arrested on a bench warrant issued by the Mercer County Common Pleas Court on January 31, 2018. The warrant states Croyle failed to comply with community control sanctions. He was found and later arrested in Rusk County Texas and returned to Mercer County in May of 2018.
His original charge was Aggravated Possession of Drugs, a charge which Croyle pleaded guilty to on September 30, 2016.
