From the Parkway Education Association:

(10-13-21) It was standing room only at the Parkway Local School Board of Education meeting Monday night as at least 35 people showed up, most wearing red shirts, in support of the Parkway teachers, who are working without a contract.

Parkway Education Association (PEA) spokesperson Ryan Twigg said

“We thank those who turned out to attend tonight’s school board meeting to support our students.  When you support teachers, you support students and public education, and we are grateful for the support”.

Twigg said recently –

“Parkway teachers care deeply about their students and want what’s best for them”.

The PEA has asked the board to return to the table to continue to bargain but no dates have been set by the board.

PEA is a local affiliate of the Ohio Education Association (OEA) and the National Education Association (NEA). PEA represents the approximately 63 teachers, nurses, counselors and psychologists in the Parkway Local School District.
