(10-16-20) The Women’s Fellowship at St. Paul’s UCC on Oregon Road west of Rockford recently voted to donate $250 to Tom Sanford,ย director and teacher of Kingdom Harvest Ministries, located in Celina.
Tom Sanford recentlyย delivered a Sunday message at St. Paulโs United Church of Christ about โTotal Submissionโ and then went on to explain the formation of Kingdom Harvestย Ministries, a group of ministers looking to teach the word of God to children at Parkway and Celina School Systems.
Parkwayย children are 4th grade through 12th grade and are dismissed to attend classes at New Horizons Church during their designated times.
Celinaโs high school students have the same opportunity at the old gymnastics center across from Celina High School.
Theย KHM group felt led to this project, and Tom witnessed that total submission for him was to give up his publicย school teaching position and become the licensed teacher for KHM.
Kingdom Harvest Ministries was recently recognized as first in the Nation in providing dual credit (High School & College) for their Parkway H.S. students attendingย ยฝ hour classes at New Horizons Church in Rockford during their regular school day.ย
God has blessed this program accordingย to Tom. The Womenโs Fellowship met recently, discussed this important program,ย and felt strongly that aย donation was in order.
