(8-18-20) The Auglaize County Health Department (ACHD) reported that a new death today from COVID 19 is a male between the ages of 70 – 90 that was a confirmed case. It is the 8th death in the county.

ACHD continues to see a rise in new cases of COVID-19 in Auglaize County.

New cases reported are

  • 339th case is a 70 year old female isolating at home
  • 340th case is a 59 year old female isolating at home
  • 341st case is a 65 year old male isolating at home
  • 342nd case is a probable 36 year old male quarantining at home.

The Mercer County Health District (MCHD) reports 689 confirmed cases, 19 probable cases, 572 recovered cases, 82 pending cases, 2,569 negative cases, 10 hospitalizations, 12 deaths, and 1 probable death of COVID-19.

Currently, there are 104 active cases of COVID-19 in Mercer County.
