“It was very clear the body was dismembered … we can show the head was cut off on the spinal column, we have the saw marks to show this … we never did find the skull.”

Notes from Sheriff Grey’s Press Conference

  • We have previously mentioned that we have evidence that foul play is involved and that we DO NOT have a complete skeleton.
  • The body was clearly dismembered.
  • The head was cut off at the spinal column, with apparent saw marks indicating this.
  • We DO NOT have the skull.
  • We DO NOT have bones from the knees down or the elbows down.
  • There are apparent cut marks indicating some of these lower portions of the extremities were sawed off as well.

This victim was reported missing to Columbus PD on November 17, 2015 after the family was unable to make contact with him since September 27, 2015 and the father had been contacted about a vehicle his son had that had been impounded in Columbus

In January 2020, a BCI analyst became intrigued about the similarity in age and height of our victim, and a similar time frame when a person went missing from a Columbus PD Missing Person case.

BCI was able to positively identify our victim by using the parents DNA and the DNA retrieved from our victim.

Ryan moved to Columbus in August 2015 to meet some friends he met through the internet
