May 28, 2020, Celina, OH/USA – Celina Insurance Group recently awarded three $1,000 scholarships to local 2020 high school graduates. The award recipients are Jenna Brinkman – Wapakoneta High School, Alex Mestemaker – Coldwater High School, and Patrick Wells – New Bremen High School. This year the scholarship certificates were presented virtually to the graduating seniors and they received a personalized package through the mail.
Jenna is the daughter of Jerald and Amy Bennett-Brinkman, Wapakoneta. She will be attending Bowling Green State University to major in Journalism with a specialization in Public Relations and minor in Marketing.
Alex is the son of Mark and Geri Mestemaker, Coldwater. He will be attending the University of Cincinnati this fall majoring in Information Technology.
Patrick is the son of Jon and Suzanne Wells, New Bremen. He plans to attend The Ohio State University majoring in Economics.
Celina Insurance Group established the scholarship for graduating seniors pursuing a degree relating to the insurance business. Seniors in Auglaize or Mercer County or a child/grandchild of a current Celina Insurance Group employee were eligible to apply. The top three applicants were selected based on a written essay on how insurance companies use innovation and technology to attract new policyholders and improve customer experience.
