COLUMBUS, OH: (4-30-20) American Municipal Power, Inc. (AMP) is proud to announce that the Village of Minster received Reliable Public Power Provider (RP3) Diamond designation and first place Safety Award, both of which are presented by the American Public Power Association (APPA).
The RP3 program recognizes utilities that demonstrate high proficiency in reliability, safety, workforce development and system improvement. There are three levels of designations, Diamond, Platinum and Gold. Minster’s Diamond designation is for a three-year period starting in 2020. Criteria within each of the four RP3 areas are based upon sound business practices and recognized industry-leading practices.
The APPA Safety Awards recognize utilities with the lowest safety incidence rate within their group of like sized utilities in 2019.
