(4-30-20) Another victim of the current pandemic is the Celina Summer Concert Series. The committee made the announcement on their Facebook page tonight. The Concert Series joins other community events who have already called off their events.
Today Governor Mike DeWine said he would be extending the stay at home order, but did not say how long that will be.
Release from Celina Summer Concert Series Committee –
With respect to the decisions being made by Federal, State, and Local governments regarding COVID-19, we have suspended plans for the 2020 season of the Celina Summer Concert Series. The health and well-being of our concertgoers and band members is of utmost importance and we are trusting the direction provided by health experts in our community and beyond. As further developments become available, we will continue to reassess our plans which will include the possibility of a Fall/Winter series. We will also be reaching out to our sponsors to keep them updated in the coming weeks ahead. Thank you for supporting the series and we look forward to sharing great music with you again soon!
