(4-7-20) During these uncertain times of social distancing, the Mercer County Fairgrounds has joined forces with local churches to create a unique drive-thru Easter experience at the Mercer County Fairgrounds to explain various stations of the Way of the Cross. With public safety as a top priority, volunteers are working independently and strategically with a common goal in mind: to safely create an Easter Encounter for all to enjoy. For the best experience, please come with a smart phone to be emerged in an interactive experience within the safety of your personal vehicle. The encounter will be open April 10th (Good Friday) from 3PM-10PM, April 11th (Holy Saturday) from 8AM-10PM, and April 12th (Easter Sunday) from 8AM-10PM.

Cara Muhlenkamp, Mercer County Fairgrounds Manager

“We are extremely grateful to have such a supportive and strong faith-based community in Mercer County. The dedication of the local churches and community member has continued to amaze me throughout the years.”

This event will be free to the public. We encourage families to attend this unique learning experience for the opportunity to dig deeper in the faith during this Easter season.
