(9-12-19) Auglaize County Sheriff Allen Solomon has announced that there has been a new development into the ongoing investigation of the shooting that occurred on April 11, 2018, south of St. Mary’s, leaving one man dead, and another severely injured.

Sheriff Solomon commented

“This has been a long, intense investigation, involving more than one agency, including a few from outside the area.  We appreciated their assistance.  These agencies include: St Marys FD & PD, Celina FD, Ohio BCI &I, Columbus Police Department, Whitehall Police Department and Lima Police Department”.

stated Sheriff Solomon.

“Due to the nature of the investigation, we will not be making any further comments”

On Aug 22, 2019 Syniqua Martina Bell (31)  from the Columbus, Ohio area was arrested and charged with the following:

• 1 Ct.     Murder        Felony of the 1^st Degree
• 1 Ct.      Murder       Felony of the 1^st Degree
• 1 Ct       Attempted Agg. Murder  Felony of the 1^st Degree
• 1 Ct.      Attempted Murder     Felony of the 1^st Degree
• 1 Ct.      Attempted Murder      1^st Degree
• 2 Ct’s     Felonious Assault    Felony of the 2^nd Degree
• 1 Ct.       Obstructing Justice  Felony of the 3^rd Degree

Bond for Bell has been set at $500,000.00  or 10%

On September 9^th, 2019 Jacar Anthony Bitting (27) from the Columbus, Ohio area was arrested and charged with the following:

• 1 Ct.      Aggravated Murder w/Gun Specification  Felony of the 1^st Degree
• 1 Ct.       Murder w/Gun Specification      Felony of the 1^st Degree
• 1 Ct.       Murder w/Gun Specification         Felony of the 1^st Degree
• 1 Ct.       Attempted Agg. Murder w/Gun Specification  Felony of the 1^st degree
• 1 Ct.       Attempted Murder w/Gun Specification   Felony of the 1^st degree
• 1 Ct.      Attempted Murder w/Gun Specification            Felony of the 1^st degree

Bitting is being held without bond.

On September 12th, 2019 Keith Tyrone Waddell (31) from the Columbus, Ohio area was arrested and charged with the following:

• 1 Ct.       Murder w/Gun Specification           Felony of the 1^st Degree
• 1 Ct.       Murder w/Gun Specification         Felony of the 1^st Degree

Waddell is currently awaiting his initial court appearance.
