(7-23-18) Mercer County District Library in Celina wrapped up the 2018 Summer Reading Program “Libraries Rock” on July 20th. Madcap Puppets entertained nearly 200 children with the classic story of Rumpelstiltskin told with life-sized puppets.

In addition, the Youth Summer Reading program came to an end on July 20th. There were 45 youth participants who completed the reading program. For the finale, kids enjoyed a pizza party and prize winners were drawn. The third place winner of Bluetooth Dancing Water Speakers was Jennalee Dameron, the second place winner of a VR Headset with remote was Grace Hiles, and the Grand Prize winner of a 3D Printing Pen set was Zayn Thobe.
