(12-21-17) The Northwestern Board of Education met for more than two hours in executive session tonight and voted 3-1 to place Superintendent Jesse Steiner (former Celina School Superintendent) on paid administrative leave (makes more than $125,000 a year).
Steiner is being investigated for allegations of unprofessional conduct and the investigation is centered around Steiner’s interaction with employees.
Board Member Andy Gundolf told WHIO News –
“The board focused on Mr. Steiener’s alleged misconduct when interacting with others on the job and whether or not he was maintaining the high standards of professional conduct we expect from staff.”
Jay Skrabacz told the board during the public comment part of the meeting that he felt the board was being unfair to Steiner and the investigation is a “witch hunt”.
