Roy E. Owens Jr and Linnea Satterfield
(7-19-17) A body found this afternoon in the trunk of a 2001 Buick LeSabre that crashed into a ditch in Darke County north of Greenville on Ohio 49 North and is believed to be that of a missing Elyria woman, according to local deputies and the Elyria Police Department.
Darke County authorities searched Owens trunk and found a deceased woman they believe to be the missing woman, Linnea Satterfield of Elyria.
Detectives from the Elyria (Ohio) Police Department are on there way to Greenville to assist in the investigation. After receiving this information, detectives from the Elyria Police Department signed an additional arrest warrant against Owens for aggravated murder.
Blood and a sign of a struggle was evident Monday when Elyria police officers checked the home of Linnea Satterfield after her sister reported her missing. Elyria Police issued an alert for Linnea Satterfield on July 17, 2017, when her friends and family could not get in contact with her.
When officers responded to her home in the suburban Cleveland city, her vehicle was at the residence, her purse was inside the house and her cellphone was stuck in a neighbor’s dryer vent according to Elyria police. A nationwide alert was issued for her ex-boyfriend, Roy E. Owens Jr., 56. Lorain Policesay Satterfield had recently broken up with her boyfriend Roy Owens Jr. and had moved into her own residence.
And the murderer will get a shorter sentence than our son did for having a CONSENSUAL relationship with a student.
