Todd Reigelsperger of Coldwater will be throwing out the first pitch at the Grand Lake Mariners game on Thursday, June 29th at 7:05 p.m.

Reigelsperger, who became paralyzed from the waist down in a car accident over six years ago, will be wearing his ReWalk Exoskeleton system at the time of the first pitch.  The ReWalk Exoskeleton is a robotic system that provides powered hip and knee motion to help individuals with spinal cord injuries to stand upright and walk again. The program is offered at Mercer Health and Community Sports and Therapy Center.

Reigelsperger continues to inspire many with his story.  Recently, he has shared his story, as a real world example, with local students who were exploring technology and bio-engineering in the classroom and has also recently participated in a local 5K race.
