(7-24-26) Mercer County native Carter Hellwarth needs your help in producing his next independent film, – The Hay Hurdler.
I’m excited to officially announce my next narrative short film: The Hay Hurdler, filming this September in Mercer County, Ohio. This film will act as an independent study capstone for my final year in school.
The film follows Oliver, a farm kid who earns the opportunity to hurdle in college and must decide what it would truly cost to leave behind the rural family and farm that raised him. This is a story about quiet sacrifice, purpose, and the difficult choices that shape our futures.

Actors for speaking roles (September 11-13th)
