VAN WERT, Ohio — Vantage Career Center recognized 27 students for their academic achievement, leadership and dedication to career-technical education during its National Technical Honor Society (NTHS) induction ceremony held in October.

Being inducted into the National Technical Honor Society is a special achievement for students who have shown dedication to their education, career goals, and personal growth. These students have worked hard to excel in the classroom, develop their technical skills, and demonstrate strong leadership and character. As members, they will have opportunities to grow as leaders, give back to their communities, and continue building skills and connections that will help them succeed in their future careers.

This year’s inductees represent 10 of Vantage Career Center’s partner school districts and a variety of career-technical programs, ranging from healthcare and information technology to skilled trades, education and public safety. Throughout the ceremony, students were recognized for their accomplishments, strong work ethic and commitment to excellence both inside and outside the classroom. Their instructors described them as dependable, hardworking and motivated individuals who consistently demonstrate leadership, responsibility and a willingness to help others.

For many of the inductees, membership in NTHS represents the culmination of their dedication to maintaining strong academic performance while developing the technical and employability skills necessary for success after graduation. The students have a wide range of career aspirations. Some plan to continue their education in nursing, physical therapy, engineering technology and other specialized fields, while others intend to enter the workforce in industries such as construction, welding, electrical trades and information technology. Regardless of their chosen paths, each inductee exemplifies the mission of Vantage Career Center: preparing students for employment and further education through authentic, student-focused career-technical training.
