(10-1-26) The Piqua Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol revealed that a 2013 Phoenix concrete mixer truck was going west on SR 29 when it hit a 2019 Buick Encore that failed to yield at the stop sign on McCartyville Road at SR 29. The crash was reported around 6:30 a.m. on State Route 29 in Van Buren Township.
Ida Kaminsky was traveling southbound on McCartyville Road when she failed to yield at the stop sign at the intersection of State Route 29 and was struck by Carlton Nusbaum, of Rockford, who was driving a concrete mixer truck westbound on state Route 29.
Kaminsky was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Shelby County Coroner’s Office.
The crash remains under investigation.
