According to court documents filed in Blackford County Circuit Court …Christopher Harlamert (38) of Hartford City was charged with:

A school resource officer recently notified the Hartford City Police Department that a 15 year old female student told police that she had been assaulted.

She said she had helped a man, later identified as Harlamert, work on his vehicle. The teen knew Harlamert, stating that the two had been connected on social media.

Harlamert reportedly contacted the teen via social media, stating “that he hoped she had a good time, that he liked what they did, and asking if they could do it again.” 

Harlamert was already listed on the sex offender registry.

Harlamert’s final pretrial hearing/conference is scheduled for March 15, 2027 and his jury trial is scheduled to begin on April 6, 2027.
