(8-6-26) Yesterday Mercer County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a house on State Route 119 to conduct a welfare check.

Upon arrival, deputies found that the suspect, Casey Bowman (37) had barricaded himself inside a room. 

Deputies issued a Signal 99, on a county-wide call for assistance. Officers from the Coldwater and St. Henry Police Departments responded.

Bowman was eventually taken into custody and booked into the Mercer County Adult Detention Center on one felony count of possession of drugs.

While at the scene Deputies located a car stolen from Dayton in the driveway and a license plate stolen from Huber Heights,
