Effective immediately: no unsupervised children will be allowed at the Boardwalk.

Over the last few nights, incidents have continued at the Boardwalk Marketplace, in which police were dispatched.

Large groups of teens have been tearing down banners and riding their mopeds on our sand volleyball court. Another group was spotted hopping the fence into the private pools, harassing cottage guests and attempting to get into guest hot tubs.

After being spoken to and given a chance to do the right thing prior to the incidents, the group still chose the opposite. Police were dispatched and the group ran.

Parents, this will not be tolerated.

The Boardwalk is meant to be a safe and clean place for locals to relax and for out-of-town guests to appreciate our great city.

Security starts today, cameras are being utilized, and we will be pressing charges.
