Columbus, OH (8-9-24) — In case you missed it, the Republican majority on the Ohio Supreme Court recently ruled that boneless chicken wings can contain bones. The boneheaded decision was quickly condemned by comedians, lawyers, elected officials, and thousands of Ohio voters who will have three state Supreme Court races on their ballots this November.
Democratic Justice Michael Donnelly in his dissent called the decision “utter jabberwocky,” noted that the majority opinion “lacked common sense” and asked: does anyone really believe that parents who feed their young children boneless wings [..] expect bones to be in the chicken?
Legal experts called it “misguided” and referred to it as “an embarrassment” for Ohio, going as far as suggesting visitors to Ohio instead order hot dogs because “you might have a better chance of knowing what’s in them”
Even the dictionary agreed that boneless wings can’t have bones. Merriam- Webster named “boneless” as one of their most searched words of the week, defining boneless as “being without a bone.”
Ohio Democratic Party spokeswoman Katie Seewer
“You don’t even have to be a legal expert to see that boneless chicken wings shouldn’t be in bones, but the GOP majority on Ohio’s Supreme Court will do anything to stand up for corporations over everyday Ohioans. This November, Ohioans who are tired of a court that undermines our will and overlooks our interests will flip the Supreme Court to Democratic control and restore some common sense.”

Chicken wings??? That is what the Democrats are complaining about? With or without bones we can’t afford to buy them anyway because of Demoncrat inflation.
